The company was created by the founder of BYS Autism Therapy Services in the United States – an organization which has more than 450+ clinicians and over 14+ years of experience delivering over a million hours of therapy since it’s opening in the Chicagoland area. Utilizing the experience and skills of a small group of licensed and certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Blue Parachute has been able to successfully aid parents with self-driven, step by step video lesson plans designed to navigate the best possible ways to teach a child meaningful everyday tasks.

Meet Our Team Members

Ashley has been in the ABA field since 2012 and earned her Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Ashley has experience working with individuals with disabilities in a variety of settings, such as in the home, in center, and in community programs. One of her goals is to combine her therapeutic recreation background with ABA, her goal is to create an inclusive summer camp program that helps all children build relationships and expand their leisure skills. Ashley finds her motivation in seeing her clients achieve new goals and says that celebrating all the victories with clients and parents, whether big or small, makes being a BCBA so rewarding.

Kim has been a BCBA since 2018. She earned her Master of Science in Behavior Analysis and Therapy from Southern Illinois University, and her Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Illinois State University. Since 2013, Kim has worked with individuals of all ages with various disabilities in a variety of settings. She finds joy in helping her clients learn new skills, increase their independence, and be successful in fun and engaging ways. Kim’s goal is to explore new ways to apply her behavior analytic skills outside of ABA, such as government policy and social change regarding the acceptance and acknowledgment of neurodiversity.

Ellizabeth has been working in the ABA field since 2014, becoming a BCBA in 2017. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Communication at the University of Illinois, Ellizabeth received a master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University. She stays motivated by seeing her clients’ increased participation and more meaningful lives through adulthood. Ellizabeth’s goal is to continue to serve more families in the autism community to create a better future for all individuals on the spectrum.

Heather comes to us from Manchester, CT as she returns home to where she grew up in the Hoffman Estates area (near Schaumburg). Heather joins us after having served 10 years at Beacon Services of Connecticut as their Senior Associate Vice President of Operations. Her experiences in multiple operational capacities while overseeing all clinical delivery provided her with a unique insight and experience that will help us as we continue to grow. Heather received her B.A. in Psychology in 2001 and received her master’s in education and BCBA in 2015. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis at Cambridge College in Cambridge, MA with the intention of completing in 2023.

Natalija has been a BCBA since August 2017 and has worked in the ABA field since 2014. Natalija earned her master’s degree from Ball State after completing her bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Her passion for ABA therapy and helping other families is a result of her brother being diagnosed with autism when she was 4 years old. Natalija aspires to continue using her passion and experience to one day move into a leadership role at BYS to help guide and oversee other young clinicians.

Erika has been in the ABA field since 2004 and earned her Master’s in Special Education for Consultation and Collaboration with an emphasis in Autism from Arizona State University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development with a minor in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin. Her experience includes ABA home programs, therapeutic day schools, and multidisciplinary clinic settings working with a variety of ages. Erika is motivated by helping children and families achieve positive results that increase their quality of life, while still respecting the neurodiversity of the people she serves.

Sami has been in the ABA field since 2000 and started working as a BCBA in 2010. Sami has an Associate of Science in Physical Therapy, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis. As a BCBA, she loves seeing the progress of the children she works with and seeing the joy that learning brings to both the children and their families. Building and growing new ideas is something Sami strives for, along with aspiring to make an impact on the way ABA therapy is provided.
